  • I haven't seen that many hawks lately (mostly my fault for not getting out to look) and so I was happy to find several shortly after I started looking. ..It was an extremely windy day and I actually found several of them and none of them were in any hurry to fly into the wind. They were very happy to stay perched in a comfortable location. This one was no different and while it didnt' ignore me, it certainly showed no intereest in leaving either...©2009, Sean Phillips.http://www.Sean-Phillips.com

  • I haven't seen that many hawks lately (mostly my fault for not getting out to look) and so I was happy to find several shortly after I started looking. ..It was an extremely windy day and I actually saw several of these beautful birds perched on bales in the same area as this one. Because of the wind none of them were in any hurry to fly away. Rather they seemed to be very happy to stay perched in a comfortable location. . .This one was no different and although it didn't ignore me, it certainly showed no interest in leaving either...©2009, Sean Phillips.http://www.Sean-Phillips.com

  • The Mountain Peaks near Canmore, Alberta, on a beautiful winter day. The sun had just dropped to the level of the horizon and gave the rim of the ridge a very cool backlit effect...©2009, Sean Phillips.http://www.Sean-Phillips.com

  • I went out for a sunrise whoot with my Dad and we managed to find a beautiful pastoral setting with a Chinook Arch highlighting the horizon. The open prairie is so big that a regular shot just didn't do it justice, so I had to make a panoramic image to really show it off...©2007, Sean Phillips.http://www.Sean-Phillips.com

  • It was one of those beautifull blue sky days in the Rocky Mountains and the peaks simply glowed in the sun. This shot was taken at the base of Sunshine Mountain ski resort...©2009, Sean Phillips.http://www.Sean-Phillips.com
